Pay no attention...

to that GENDER behind the curtain!

You can all rest in peace tonight...the Great OZ has spoken. The Apels are no longer the crazy old-fashioned people who aren't going to find out what they are having. IT'S A BOY!! We were in getting a voluntary sonogram to help a person from our church that was training on the sono. Cate (Our Best Friend) and I were out in the lobby while Kirby, 1 Trainer, and 3 Sono Trainees were in the room 'learning'. A little while after Kirby had declared her desire to not know the gender, the trainer made a very awkward comment. "Oh look, he's adjusting himself. Look, he's got his hand's in his pants." And that's the ball game! Cate and I came in a little later and they were very bad about covering their "he's" with "uh..um, or she's". We went ahead and confirmed that it was a boy, so that we weren't left the next 20 weeks pretty sure but never knowing completely. Oh well, maybe next time....WE'RE HAVING A BOY!

Oh my goodness! Everyone in the world predicted a girl! What did I predict? I need to go back and look. A boy! Probably the prettiest boy, too. He is destined to be a catalog model, probably from birth.
Congratulations! I love, love, love having boys! They're awesome!

Hey Friends -
So, I stumbled across your blog some time ago, and Danny and I have really enjoyed keeping up with your baby news. Of course, I'm only permitted to talk about, read about, or think about babies for a very small amount of the day. I am very susceptible to the "baby bug," and if I'm not careful I start wanting one in a bad way. Anyways, congrats on expecting a boy and keep the updates coming!

Congratulations!! Boys are so much fun. I hope you had a great one year anniversary - I'm sorry I let it go by without wishing you two the best. We just left the Ranger game with Mark, Sarah, Joyce, Charles and Grandma Apel. It was a great time...got to see Mercy Me live before the game. Wish you could have been with us! We miss you and love you so much!! Love, hugs and kisses - Aunt Kathy

Hey Apels,
I'm so happy for you guys. Your little guy is going to be so wonderful. I'm so sorry that you had to find out this way, but the rest of us were dying to find out.....so praise the Lord for that little slip.

Love you guys.
